Fingal County Enterprise Board (FCEB) is the state agency with responsibility for development of local enterprise. The Enterprise Board provides a first stop shop for small business owner managers and those seeking to start their own business. A range of assistance and practical initiatives and support programmes are available for both start-up and existing small business owner/managers. This includes financial/grant assistance, management skills development, business advice, mentoring and information services. The Board runs Start Your Own Business courses, ideas generation workshops, business information seminars, management skills workshops, E-Commerce programmes etc. Excellent business networking opportunities are available from the Enterprise Board and network meetings are held locally and regularly. The services available are subsidised by the Board (funded by the Dept of Enterprise Trade and Employment). This ensures that the small business owner/manager can avail of high quality and practical supports at a fraction of the commercial cost. Business The Board can assist businesses at all stages of development. Financial assistance / grant aid is available to certain qualifying businesses with up to ten employees.
