Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC) is an independent human rights NGO that aims to increase access to justice for all. It offers legal information and advice on a range of legal issues, with a particular campaign focus on social welfare law, credit and debit law, civil legal aid and public interest law/human rights. FLAC's lo-call telephone information and referral line offers basic first-stop legal information to callers. Legal advice is provided by professional lawyers at centres all over the country. FLAC centres are intended for people who cannot otherwise afford to access legal advice.
